We’re excited to welcome Randy Jones to the SafePoint IT team as our new Service Coordinator!
Background & Experience
Randy Jones brings over six years of combined IT and administrative experience supporting service operations, ticketing workflows, and technical coordination. With a strong foundation in scheduling, communication, and process improvement, he helps ensure service delivery remains efficient, organized, and client focused.
Before joining SafePoint IT, Randy worked as an IT Dispatcher and Systems Administrator where he played a central role in coordinating daily service operations. He managed ticket intake, scheduling, prioritization, and tracking for both reactive support and proactive project work. By carefully monitoring technician workload and shifting priorities, reduce delays, and ensure that service requests were addressed in a timely manner.
Role at SafePoint IT
Randy serves as a Service Coordinator and Dispatcher, supporting both day-to-day service operations and long-term project scheduling. He evaluates incoming support requests, ensures proper triage, and assigns work to the most appropriate technician or engineer based on skill set, urgency, and availability. By maintaining constant communication with the technical team, he helps keep work progressing efficiently and transparently. Randy also plays a key role in follow-ups, documentation, and operational reporting, ensuring leadership and clients alike have accurate insight into service performance. His efforts directly contribute to faster response times, improved consistency, and a smoother overall support experience for SafePoint IT’s clients.
Life Outside of Work
Outside of work, Randy is a proud self-described nerd. He’s an avid gamer (with Genshin Impact currently at the top of his list), a lifelong Pokémon fan, and a dedicated anime watcher. When he’s not diving into a new game or series, you’ll often find him in the gym pursuing bodybuilding and fitness goals.
Randy is also deeply committed to his professional growth—he holds a Google Cybersecurity Certificate and is currently preparing for his CompTIA A+ certification.
Looking Ahead
Most importantly, Randy is a huge family man and loves spending time with his large, close-knit family whenever he can.We’re excited to have Randy as part of the SafePoint IT team. His blend of operational skill, technical curiosity, and friendly energy makes him a wonderful addition to the organization.
