WHAT WE CONNECT
A connector is what lets Claude read and work with a system you use, instead of guessing. How much a connector costs depends on how much work it takes to build, and everything sorts into three kinds.

A verified, ready-made connector. You sign in with your own login and it works. Most mainstream business software is already here.

The software supports connecting, but it takes administrator work to set up: keys from the vendor, security configuration, sometimes a plan upgrade on their side.

Standard connectors already exist for most of what a business runs on:
Three honest notes. Your email and files connector is the one nobody skips, so in practice it takes the first of the four slots and you choose three. Connected does not mean every feature you can imagine is available, so we check what a connector can actually reach against what you want to do before anything is quoted. And if the system your industry runs on is not in that list, ask us. We look it up in the directory every time, never from memory.
GUARDRAILS
This setup gives Claude the ability to act, not just answer. It can read and write real data in the systems we connect. Six controls go on at the start of every deployment, before anyone uses it. They are the same ones we run on our own machines.
One working folder
Everything Claude creates lives inside a single folder, and its instructions say it does not read or write outside it. Personal and work use never share one.
Written rules it reads every time
A plain instruction file at the root: what the company does, what your role is, where things live, and what it must never do. When Claude misbehaves, this is the first place to look.
The right account, pinned
If a connector holds two logins, a work account and a personal one, the instructions name which one every action uses. Defaults are silent, and an email sent from the wrong account is the kind of mistake nobody notices until it matters.
Nothing goes out without your yes
Every action another person could see, sending an email, replying, posting to chat, submitting anything, stops and asks first. Claude drafts. You send. Reading stays fast because the friction sits only on the way out.
Bulk changes need your yes
Reading at any scale is free. Writing at scale is not. Anything touching many records or files at once shows you the list first and waits. One bad instruction multiplied by five hundred rows is how this goes wrong.
A log of what it did
Every outbound send and every record it creates or changes gets a timestamped line in a running log. When you ask what the AI actually did last month, the answer is a file, not a recollection.

HOW IT WORKS
Most of the work happens before we ever connect to your machine. That is deliberate, and it is why the appointment runs on time.
You pick the four systems to connect and tell us who can authorize each one. You fill in a one-page questionnaire about what you actually do all day, which is what makes the setup yours instead of generic. We confirm your subscription and check that your security settings will allow the install.
About 15 minutes of your time
We install, get your administrator's sign-off on the tenant approvals, build the folder and guardrails before anything else touches the machine, and connect each system with you signing in yourself. Then we write the context together, with you in the room, because you know your job and we do not.
One session, about 3 hours
You drive. We pick something genuinely on your plate and do it together. The goal is that you open it the next morning without calling us. You keep a written quick-start guide, and we document the whole setup on our side.

This setup gives Claude the ability to act, not just answer. It can read and write real data in the systems we connect, including files, email, and business records. We configure guardrails: a working-folder boundary, approval prompts before anything is sent or changed in bulk, and an action log. They meaningfully reduce risk, but they are settings and instructions, not locks. A user who approves a request without reading it, or who works around the rules, can still make changes that are hard to undo.
Your backups are the reliable recovery path for data that gets changed incorrectly, by AI or by people, so confirm your backup coverage before leaning on this tool for important data. We check that with you before we start, not after.

IS IT A FIT?
This is a setup, not an AI project. Being clear about the line saves everyone a wasted conversation.
If you are not sure which one you are, say so on the call. We would rather tell you it is a bigger project than sell you the small one twice.
QUESTIONS
You can, and some people should. Installing the app takes half an hour. The difference is what happens after. Connecting it to your email, your files, and your business data means every one of those connections has to be built, authorized, and secured correctly, and the boundaries around what it can do have to be set before anyone starts using it. Done wrong it is either useless or a data problem. That is the part we do.
The app is the cheapest part of this. What you are paying for is the connections being set up safely, the guardrails, the written context that makes it useful for your business specifically, and the hour of training. That is what separates a toy from a tool. Clients do not know what they do not know about this yet, and that is exactly what they are buying.

The only real question is which of the three kinds it is, and we look it up rather than answering from memory, because ready-made connectors are added constantly and something that needed building last quarter may be one click today. If a ready-made connector exists it counts as one of your four. If it needs administrator setup it is a premium connector at $300. If nothing exists, we build it and quote it first.
Yes, and there are two ways to do it. This package covers the first person. Additional people on the same tenant are $200 each once that first setup is done. Past four or five people it should be scoped as a rollout instead, which is a different piece of work and generally a better deal for you than buying the same thing five times.
