MANUFACTURING IT SUPPORT · CHICAGOLAND
Help desk, 24/7 monitoring, cybersecurity and backups for plants and job shops, with an IT partner who understands that the office and the shop floor share one network.
WHO IT IS FOR
You do not need to become an IT expert to know production is covered. These are the people we work with, and what keeps each of them up at night.
You own uptime. When the ERP freezes, a shop-floor PC dies or a scanner stops talking to inventory, the line waits and the phone rings for you.
You run the vendors, the licenses and the cyber insurance renewal, and you are the one who gets the questionnaire nobody else can answer.
You want IT that just works, a price you can plan around, and a partner who protects what you built without needing you in every decision.
Someone in-house handles IT on top of a day job. We can take all of it, or back them up with Co-Managed IT.
THE CHALLENGES
IBM X-Force has ranked manufacturing the most-attacked industry for several years running. Attackers know a stopped line gets paid. These are the problems that come up most.
The ERP, the MRP, the label printers and the scanners all have to work at the start of every shift.
Equipment PCs that cannot be upgraded sit on the same network as email and the internet.
One click in the office can stop production on the floor, and a fake invoice can empty an account.
Carriers, large customers and the defense supply chain all ask for proof of the same controls.
More than one building, more than one shift, and staff who share computers on the floor.
When the office stops, people wait. When the line stops, orders slip. We plan around that.
WHAT MANAGED IT INCLUDES
Everything below is on every Managed IT plan. The only thing that changes between plans is how often we come on-site.
Unlimited requests by phone, email or chat, answered by engineers who know your setup.
Servers, computers and network watched around the clock, with patching on a schedule.
Endpoint protection, a 24/7 security operations center, email security and training.
Regular business reviews, a technology roadmap and budget planning with a Fractional CIO.
Plans start at $130 per user per month. Shared floor computers are priced after the assessment. Compare plans →
If you supply the defense industry, CMMC 2.0 starts with basics like multi-factor sign-in, access control, patching, backups and an inventory of every device. We put those technical controls in place, keep them running and hand you the evidence. Certification itself is done by an authorized third-party assessor, and we work with yours.
We complete the technical sections of your cyber insurance application and attest only to controls we actually run. When a carrier makes a control a condition of coverage, it becomes our deadline, not yours. Included, not billed.

FAQ
Yes. We support plants and job shops across Chicagoland: the office, the shop floor computers, the network that connects them, and the cloud systems around them. Help desk, 24/7 monitoring, cybersecurity and backups are on every Managed IT plan.
We keep the servers, computers, network and backups your ERP runs on healthy, and we work with your ERP vendor when the application itself has a problem, so your team is not stuck in the middle.
Many plants run equipment on computers that can no longer be patched. We find them during the assessment, keep them away from email and the internet where we can, and plan what to do about each one before it fails.
We put the technical controls in place, keep them running and document them: multi-factor sign-in, access control, patching, backups and device inventory. Certification itself is done by an authorized third-party assessor, and we work alongside yours.
Yes, and it is included. We complete the technical sections and attest only to controls we actually run. When a carrier makes a control a condition of coverage, it becomes our deadline to put in place.
Managed IT is priced per person, from $130 per user per month. Shared floor computers do not fit that neatly, so we price them after the assessment, once we know how many there are and what they do.
Yes. Co-Managed IT keeps your IT person in charge and adds 24/7 security monitoring, help desk overflow and extra hands for projects.
Yes. Every plan includes remote support, and plans differ by how often we come on-site: hourly, once a month, or unlimited. Our engineers cover Chicagoland.
