
We’re excited to welcome Randy Jones to the SafePoint IT team as our new Service Coordinator!
Background & Experience
Randy brings over six years of combined IT and administrative experience. His background includes service operations, ticketing workflows, and technical coordination. With strong skills in scheduling, communication, and process improvement, he helps keep service delivery efficient, organized, and client focused.
Before joining SafePoint IT, Randy worked as an IT Dispatcher and Systems Administrator. In that role, he supported daily service operations and helped keep work moving smoothly. He managed ticket intake, scheduling, prioritization, and tracking for both reactive support and proactive project work. By monitoring technician workloads and adjusting priorities as needed, he helped reduce delays and keep service requests on track.
Role at SafePoint IT
At SafePoint IT, Randy serves as a Service Coordinator and Dispatcher. In this role, he supports both day-to-day service operations and longer-term project scheduling. He reviews incoming support requests, helps ensure proper triage, and assigns work based on skill set, urgency, and availability. In addition, through steady communication with the technical team, he helps work move forward clearly and efficiently. He also supports follow-ups, documentation, and operational reporting. As a result, his work helps create a smoother and more consistent support experience for clients.
Outside the Office
Outside of work, Randy is a proud self-described nerd. He enjoys gaming, with Genshin Impact currently at the top of his list. He is also a lifelong Pokémon fan and a dedicated anime watcher. When he is not exploring a new game or series, he is often in the gym working toward his bodybuilding and fitness goals.
Randy is also committed to continued professional growth. He holds a Google Cybersecurity Certificate and is currently preparing for his CompTIA A+ certification.
