Premier Hosting, Inc., d/b/a SafePoint IT, an Illinois corporation (“SafePoint IT,” “SafePoint,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy and safeguarding the confidentiality of your data. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you interact with our website, our services, and our communications, including SMS messages sent through Microsoft Teams.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to:
- Visitors to https://www.safepointit.com and any related SafePoint IT web properties;
- Current and prospective clients and their authorized users;
- Individuals who contact us by phone, email, web form, or SMS; and
- Users of the SafePoint IT Client Portal and any related online services.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to data we process on behalf of our clients in our capacity as a service provider. Such data is governed by the applicable Master Services Agreement, Service Level Agreement, and Data Processing terms between SafePoint IT and the client.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Information You Provide
- Identity and contact information — name, business name, job title, email address, mailing address, telephone and mobile phone numbers.
- Account information — Client Portal username and authentication credentials, support ticket history, and service preferences.
- Billing information — billing contact, billing address, purchase order numbers, and the last four digits of payment cards. Full payment card numbers are processed by our third-party payment processor and are not stored by SafePoint IT.
- Communications — the content of emails, phone calls, SMS messages, support tickets, web-form submissions, and other communications you send to us.
2.2 Information Collected Automatically
- Device and usage information — IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time spent, and clickstream data.
- Cookies and similar technologies — small data files used to enable basic site functionality, remember preferences, recognize returning visitors, and measure aggregate site performance. See Section 7 below.
2.3 Information From Third Parties
- Business contacts and referrals — information provided by clients about their authorized users, or by partners who refer prospective clients to us.
- Service providers — information from analytics, security, and email-delivery providers used to operate our website and services.
3. SMS Privacy Notice (Microsoft Teams SMS)
SMS Communications
SafePoint IT (“SafePoint,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) uses Microsoft Teams SMS to communicate with individuals for one-to-one, person-to-person business purposes only. SMS communications are used solely for legitimate business interactions and are not used for marketing, advertising, or promotional campaigns.
Collection of Mobile Information
We collect mobile phone numbers when individuals voluntarily provide their number and expressly agree to receive SMS communications, including:
- When communicating directly with a SafePoint IT representative
- During an existing or prospective business relationship where the individual has expressly agreed to receive SMS communications
- When an individual initiates SMS communication with SafePoint IT
Mobile numbers are used solely to:
- Respond to inquiries
- Provide customer support
- Coordinate appointments or service requests
- Communicate business-related information
Consent
By providing your mobile phone number and affirmatively consenting to receive SMS messages, or by initiating SMS communication with SafePoint IT, you provide express consent to receive one-to-one, business-related SMS messages via Microsoft Teams. Consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn at any time.
Message Frequency
You may receive up to 10 SMS messages per month. Message frequency varies based on your interaction with SafePoint IT and the nature of individual business communications.
Opt-Out, Re-Opt-In, and Help
You may opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying STOP to any message. Upon opting out, you will receive one confirmation message acknowledging your request, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from SafePoint IT unless you explicitly re-opt-in to receive SMS messages.

Message Delivery Disclaimer
SMS message delivery is subject to mobile carrier availability and is not guaranteed. SafePoint IT is not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Mobile Information Sharing
SafePoint IT does not share, sell, rent, or disclose mobile opt-in data or SMS consent information to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is used strictly to support direct business communications.
Data Protection
SafePoint IT implements reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal and mobile information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse.
Updates to This Notice
This SMS Privacy Notice may be updated periodically. Any changes will be posted on this page and will become effective upon posting.
4. How We Use Information
We use the information described above to:
- Provide, maintain, and support our services and the Client Portal;
- Respond to inquiries, support requests, and SMS messages;
- Issue invoices, process payments, and manage accounts;
- Coordinate appointments, deployments, and on-site visits;
- Communicate service updates, security notices, and other operational messages;
- Send occasional newsletters or business updates to individuals who have opted in (separate from SMS, which is one-to-one only);
- Monitor, protect, and improve the security, performance, and reliability of our website and services;
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, or violations of our terms; and
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our agreements.
5. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only as follows:
- Service providers — trusted vendors that help us operate our business, such as payment processors, cloud-hosting and email providers, professional services automation (PSA) and ticketing platforms, CRM platforms, analytics providers, and the Microsoft Teams SMS platform. These providers are contractually required to handle information consistent with this Privacy Policy.
- Professional advisors — auditors, accountants, attorneys, and insurers, when reasonably necessary.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to standard confidentiality protections.
- Legal and safety — when required by subpoena, court order, or other legal process; to investigate suspected violations of our terms; or to prevent imminent physical harm.
We do not share, sell, rent, or disclose mobile opt-in or SMS consent information to third parties for marketing or promotional purposes under any circumstances.
6. Customer Communications Data
We do not monitor, edit, or distribute customer communications data such as phone calls, voicemails, emails, SMS messages, or stored application content. We access this data only:
- At the customer’s request, for support or troubleshooting;
- To investigate a suspected violation of service terms;
- If required by subpoena, court order, or other legal process; or
- To prevent imminent physical harm.
7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Our websites use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- Strictly necessary — required to operate the site and the Client Portal (e.g., session management, security).
- Functional — remember preferences and provide enhanced features.
- Analytics — help us understand aggregate usage so we can improve site performance and content.
You can configure your browser to block or delete cookies at any time. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of our site from functioning correctly.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as necessary to:
- Provide our services and support;
- Meet billing, accounting, tax, and other legal requirements;
- Resolve disputes and enforce our agreements; and
- Maintain reasonable business records.
When information is no longer needed for these purposes, we delete, anonymize, or securely archive it in accordance with our internal retention schedule.

Despite these efforts, no system is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your Privacy Rights
You may contact us to:
- Request access to the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct or update inaccurate or incomplete information;
- Withdraw consent to optional data processing (such as marketing or SMS); and
- Request the deletion or return of stored personal information, subject to applicable legal and contractual retention requirements.

- Correct inaccurate personal information;

SafePoint IT does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@safepointit.com. We may verify your request by confirming details we already hold on file.
11. Children’s Privacy
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@safepointit.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Third-Party Content and Services
Our website and systems may contain links to, or integrations with, third-party services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of third-party sites. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third party before providing personal information.
13. International Users
SafePoint IT operates from the United States. If you access our website or services from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those of your country.
